Meet Dr. Charlie Metcalf

A Life in Leadership and Ministry

I am a husband, father, pastor, and executive coach.

My life’s work centers on helping people lead well: in their homes, in their organizations, and in their communities.

I serve as an executive coach and leadership advisor with LEAD Advisors, where I work alongside business owners, executives, and leadership teams who want to grow in clarity, accountability, and long-term health. My role is not to lecture from a distance, but to walk with leaders as they think, decide, and carry responsibility well.

I also serve as Lead Pastor of Clearview Chapel in LaGrange, Georgia. There I preach the Scriptures, shepherd our congregation, and seek to cultivate a church that worships God, loves others, and serves our community faithfully.

A Bit of My Story

I am, at heart, a leadership junkie.

Growing up, I never thought of myself as a leader. That changed my senior year of high school when someone came alongside me, believed in me, recognized some gifts, and helped me develop them. I took a leadership course in college and was hooked. From there, life seemed to keep placing me in situations where I was asked to lead (in ministry, in organizations, and in the community).

In 2012, I returned to graduate school and earned a PhD in Organizational Leadership. I did not pursue a doctorate to publish papers or live in academic research. I pursued it because I wanted to better equip real people in real companies facing real pressures.

And the truth is, every time I prepare for a coaching session or a training workshop, I’m reminded how much more there is to learn and apply. Leadership is not a subject you master once; it is a discipline you grow in over a lifetime. That’s one reason I value interactive training and small group “pod” discussions so much. These give leaders space to digest ideas, wrestle with them, and put them into practice.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations such as Kia Motors, Remington Firearms, Southwire, Duracell, Hyundai, Strack, Sheridan Construction, Mullins Mechanical, and several city governments. These experiences have reinforced a simple conviction: leadership is not about personality or platform. It is about responsibility, integrity, and steady faithfulness over time.

My education has shaped me. Experience has refined me. But the greatest lessons have come from walking with people (in boardrooms, on job sites, and in the local church).

When I’m not coaching or preaching, you’ll likely find me investing in my family, enjoying baseball, traveling, or reading.

Thank you for visiting.
